Aaliyah Edwards Reflects on Her WNBA Rookie Season with Fresh Prince TikTok

With the WNBA regular season officially over, some teams are conducting exit interviews and preparing for the transition into the offseason. Among that group is Washington Mystics rookie Aaliyah Edwards, who posted a sad but heartwarming TikTok to sum up her year.

I can’t blame Aaliyah for enjoying every minute of her first year of professional basketball. It must be an eye-opener to realize it might be months before she picks up a basketball again.

In a new clip, Aaliyah captioned the footage: “I got my The Prince of Bel “Moment” — during the series finale, Will stood in the empty house and then turned off the lights as he walked out — and I had to hold back tears. The video is full of precious moments that you have to see.
