URI Men’s Basketball Team Announces 2024-25 Atlantic 10 Conference Schedule

KINGSTON, Rhode Island – Rhode Island will play seven games in front of a nationally televised audience, according to the Atlantic 10 Conference schedule released Tuesday afternoon.

Five of URI’s 18 A-10 games will be nationally televised, starting with a home game against George Mason on Saturday, Jan. 4. That game is the first of two that will air on USA Network. The other will be in St. Louis on Saturday, Feb. 22.

Rhody also has five games that will be broadcast by CBS Sports Network, including non-conference games against Providence (Dec. 7) and Temple (Dec. 21). CBSSN will also broadcast the team’s game at Loyola Chicago (Jan. 15), home against VCU (Jan. 21) and home against Dayton (Feb. 26).

The league schedule begins Dec. 31 for the Rams, who travel to defending champion Duquesne. They will then play home games against George, Mason (Jan. 4) and Washington (Jan. 8).

From there, Rhody is back on the road for games against last season’s regular-season co-champions. URI travels to Richmond on Jan. 11, then heads to Loyola Chicago on Jan. 15. January concludes with home games against Davidson (Jan. 18) and VCU (Jan. 21), an away game at La Salle (Jan. 25) and homecoming to Massachusetts on Jan. 29.

February opens with a midweek game at Fordham (Feb. 5) and a trip to George Mason (Feb. 8). Rhody hosts St. Bonaventure on Feb. 12 and La Salle on Feb. 15. After a weekend trip to St. Louis (Feb. 22), the Rams return home to host Dayton (Feb. 26) to close out February.

The regular season ends with games at Massachusetts (March 1) and Saint Joseph’s (March 5) before a home game against Fordham (March 8) in the finale.

At no point in the conference schedule will Rhode Island play more than two consecutive home or away games. Any Atlantic 10 game not scheduled for national television will be broadcast on ESPN+, home and away.
