Honda is ready to make waves with its new MY25 X-ADV model

After debuting in 2017, Honda continues to promote its X-ADV lineup by introducing an all-new 2025 model.

The 25MY motorcycle has undergone several upgrades, including a styling refresh with twin LED headlights featuring new daytime running lights, integrated turn signals, as well as new cruise control as standard and an upgraded dual-clutch transmission (DCT) for smoother handling at low speeds.

To make the fairing even more environmentally friendly, Durabio biomass plastic (engineering plastic) is used for some parts of the fairing. The windshield, also made of Durabio, is adjustable to three different levels.

The X-ADV’s rich specification is also highlighted by Throttle By Wire (TBW) management, four default riding modes with pre-set combinations of settings for power, engine braking and Honda’s proprietary selectable torque control that has been refined specifically for the model update.

As with all Honda motorcycles, comfort is a key design element and the seat features 10% more urethane foam for improved comfort, a new shape for easier ground access and smoother opening and closing. The 22L seat storage compartment includes a USB-C port and its glove box has been added for added convenience.

The chassis of the new Honda X-ADV My25 consists of a tubular steel frame, a 41 mm USD front fork, a rear monoshock with Pro-Link and an aluminum swingarm. A 17-inch front wheel is paired with a 15-inch rear wheel with two four-piston radial calipers at the front. It is also available in three colors: Graphite Black, Pearl Glare White and Matte Deep Mud Gray.

Four riding modes are available with the new X-ADV model: Standard, Sport, Rain and Gravel.

The Honda X-ADV’s engine is a liquid-cooled, eight-valve parallel twin, designed to deliver exceptional low- and mid-range power. Full specification details are below.
