The Alienware Pro headset combines minimalist style with powerful performance, ANC technology and Bluetooth

The new Alienware Pro headset, designed in collaboration with over 100 esports professionals including Team Liquid, blurs the lines between sleek, minimalist streetwear with ANC and premium wireless PC gaming audio. Over 18 months in development, the Alienware Pro headset is the company’s most advanced gaming headset yet.

At the heart of the new headset are 50mm graphene-coated drivers designed to support and enhance directional audio, essential for competitive gaming that relies on complex sound design in shooters like Call of Duty and Counter-Strike 2. Plus, you get dual-mic noise cancellation that will pick up only your voice while ignoring background sound.

Plus, it features Hybrid ANC technology for active noise cancellation, comfortable memory foam leatherette earcups, and a sleek design reminiscent of premium over-ear headphones.

“This headset had to meet the demands of competitive gaming, so we collaborated with over 100 elite esports athletes and streamers, including those from the legendary Team Liquid,” Alienware said. “For 18 months, we combined their knowledge with the expertise of our engineers to create our most advanced gaming headset yet.”

And that’s not all, as the Alienware Pro headset includes a wired mode via USB-C that supports Hi-Res Audio and Bluetooth 5.3 when used outside of your home or gaming setup. As with headphones designed primarily for travel and on-the-go audio, there’s a Transparency mode for hearing your surroundings through the earbuds.

Alienware notes that the new Pro headset, in addition to audio optimized for gaming and communication, strikes “the perfect balance of fit, weight, and style.” Battery life also seems excellent, with up to 70 hours in low-latency 2.4GHz wireless mode without ANC, 30 hours with AND, and 75 hours on Bluetooth. Priced at $229.99, the Alienware Pro headset will be available in October. Stay tuned for our full review.
