Daniel Craig turns up the volume in balloon pants with wife Rachel Weisz for the Loewe show during Paris Fashion Week

Daniel Craig turns up the volume in balloon pants with wife Rachel Weisz for the Loewe show during Paris Fashion Week

Daniel Craig took knitwear in a bold direction while attending Loewe’s Spring 2025 ready-to-wear show during Paris Fashion Week on Friday. The “Queer” star posed for photos before the show alongside his wife, Oscar-winning actress Rachel Weisz.

For his front row guest outfit at the recent Loewe show, Craig opted for knits adorned with Richard Hawkins artwork. The wool sweater, from Loewe’s fall 2024 collection, featured a round neck and a pop of contrasting colors.

Craig added other incongruous tones to add extra juxtaposition to his sweater, pairing the knitted piece with olive cargo balloon pants, a leather bomber jacket, boots and a pair of yellow-lens sunglasses. Weisz wore a semi-complimentary look, styling her own contrast-colored sweater with wide-leg jeans and a pair of black shoes.

Craig’s decision to wear a piece from Loewe’s fall 2024 collection was ideal for the occasion in more ways than one. Not only did the piece pay sartorial homage to the Spanish luxury fashion house’s Spring 2025 show on Friday, it also recalled Craig’s role in the Fall 2024 campaign.

Craig channeled his “raw” persona for the fall 2024 collection campaign, in which he starred alongside actress Greta Lee. “The campaign is a study in how characters and their clothes are intertwined, with lots of bravado and a confrontational attitude,” Loewe said of the campaign in a statement.

Jonathan Anderson, creative director of Loewe since 2013, unveiled his spring 2025 ready-to-wear collection on Friday. “This show will be remembered for its many new designs, including pleated khakis transformed with brass wire into cup skirts. tea, feathered T-shirts printed with famous works of art or busts of composers, biker jackets contoured into little swinging tops and tiny stiffened A-line dresses. by dense glitter or iridescent shells,” WWD’s Miles Socha wrote in his review of the collection.
