‘Life After Lockup’ Returns with More Episodes in October 2024: Meet the Cast

THE Love after confinement the journey continues in a new 10-episode season of Life after confinement, premieres October 4 on WE tv.

The new 90-minute episodes of the reality series about incarcerated individuals and their partners will follow seven couples from previous seasons of Love after confinement And Love during confinement. Will either of them be able to make their relationship work? Or will the pressure of outside life separate them?

Bianca and Daniel

During the last season of Love after confinement, viewers met Bianca, who had given up everything to move to Arizona to become Daniel, even though he was behind bars. Now he has been released and she is ready to start their life together.

“Daniel is out of prison. I’m so happy,” Bianca says in the new Life after detention trailer (via YouTube).

But Daniel doesn’t seem to be on the same page.

“Bianca wants to get married. I don’t think we’re ready,” he said.

As Bianca begins to realize that she might not experience the happiness she had imagined, her relationship with Daniel becomes strained. As the lease on their apartment expires, will they resolve their problems or separate?

Tseruja and Troy

Troy is out of prison and back home. Now, Zeruiah is determined to involve him in all of her family’s business affairs. She introduces him to Project HEAL, their nonprofit organization that aims to support the formerly incarcerated. But Zeruiah keeps their affairs a secret.

Britney and Kerok

Britney and Kerok made their Love after confinement debut in 2023. The couple, who met while they were both incarcerated at the same facility, were facing the challenges of a relationship on the outside in addition to the added stress of Kerok’s gender transition . Now they are looking to make even more changes. The couple moved from Virginia to Texas, with Kerok’s mother, Tammy. But as they prepare for the big move, they receive a shocking call that could change everything.

Kimberley and Joey

Kim and Joey adjust to their new life together after his recent release from prison. Joey has become a stepfather to Kim’s boys and she is thrilled to have her fiancé home. And the more time Joey spends with Kim’s son Kasen, the more he suspects he’s her biological child. Will a DNA test prove him right? Kim fears the results could affect the boys and change everything. To make matters worse, she begins to suspect that Joey may not be sober.

“It scares the hell out of me,” she says in the trailer after someone asks her if she thinks he does drugs.

Melissa and Louie

Louie has been out of prison for a year and a half and Melissa is ready for them to get married. She pressures him to choose the perfect ring, but his mother, Donna, thinks the couple is moving too fast. Meanwhile, Louie works multiple jobs in an effort to make Melissa’s dreams come true. But it doesn’t seem like Melissa is giving much in return.

“I would love it if you were more affectionate,” he says in the trailer.

Tennie and Robert

Rob and Tennie try to live their lives together after his release. But his mother, Kate, became a major problem in their relationship. Kate feels like she was left to care for Tennie and her children while Rob was behind bars, leading to a major outburst at her welcome home party.

Although Rob is torn between his wife and his mother, he still wants to have his own child with Tennie. However, she’s already had to raise two children as a single mother and isn’t sure she wants another baby.

Justine and Michel

Familiar Love after confinement Couple Justine and Michael moved from Pennsylvania to Las Vegas with their large blended family and their newborn, Manhattan Barbie. And they haven’t finished expanding their family. Justine is currently pregnant with baby number 9!

Life after detention premieres Friday, October 4 at 8 p.m. ET on WE tv. Episodes will be available to stream on ALLBLK every Tuesday.
