Police appeal for information after man (62) required hospital treatment following assault in Highland village

Police are appealing for information following an attack on a 62-year-old man in Ardersier.

The incident happened at around 8.10pm yesterday in the High Street.

The man was taken to hospital for treatment.

The first suspect is described as white, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall, of slim build, with short, dark hair. He was wearing a black down jacket.

The second suspect is described as white, approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall, with a stocky build, with short, light hair. He was wearing a light colored hooded top.

Detective Sergeant Duncan Jones said: “Our inquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this to contact us.

“We are also asking anyone who has private CCTV or dashcam footage of the area at this time to come forward.”
