Travis Kelce’s Mom Donna Opens Up About Meeting Prince William

Travis Kelce had a total touchdown at his girlfriend Taylor Swift’s concert this summer.

Just ask the relative’s mother, Donna Kelce, who finally spills the royal tea during her meeting.

The 71-year-old shared that Kelce, 34, said meeting Prince William and his children, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince George, 11, at Swift’s Eras show at London’s Wembley Stadium in June was “one of the coolest things.”

Donna also revealed that the Kansas City Chiefs player had a modest reaction to meeting the royals.

She told Extra on Thursday: “He said, ‘When you meet people like that, you know when the royals come in or Paul McCartney or Hugh Grant… there’s someone in the suite, you ask who in this photo doesn’t. adjust? Why am I here and why am I even allowed to speak to these individuals? It just doesn’t seem right.

But Kelce scored major points with his mother for the way he handled the interaction.

“I think he’s handling it pretty well,” Donna exclaimed. “He’s a pretty nice guy.”

The athlete attended the Eras concert in London on June 21 to support his leading lady, while Prince William, 42, brought two of his three children to enjoy the evening.

Kelce smiled for a selfie with the trio and Swift, 34, backstage at the concert, which the singer posted to Instagram the next day.

“Happy birthday M8! The shows in London are off to a magnificent start,” she captioned the post, tagging the Prince and Princess of Wales.

William also posted the photo on his official Instagram account.

Kelce did not escape this incredible moment that quickly, as he detailed the experience on his “New Heights” podcast shortly after.

“Man, she was the coolest mom. He was great. It was a real pleasure to meet them,” he said.

“He was great,” Jason, 36, added.

The brothers agreed that William was “so cool” and that he was “a good guy.”

Kelce also shared that he wasn’t sure of the royal protocol when meeting the family. “(I) wasn’t sure if I was supposed to curtsy to them and be an American idiot and shake their hands,” he admitted.

Meanwhile, in her recent chat with Extra, Donna reflected on her youngest son’s whirlwind year: from meeting the royal family to meeting superstar Swift, with whom he was first linked time in 2023, and his various career highs, including winning the Super Bowl and acting in Ryan Murphy’s new series “Grotesquerie.”

“(He’s) on top of the world,” she told the outlet.

“Just got another Super Bowl ring under his belt. It seems that his life is on a trajectory that increases every day. And every time I turn around I see him doing something different, whether it’s on the golf course or at a concert or whatever it is, he’s just living his best life right now.

But Donna teased that Kelce had empty space to improve. a few areas of his life.

“He doesn’t know how to clean, he doesn’t know how to cook… he’s a little better.” I think he’s getting help,” she told Extra..
