Fields is the Digest Player of the Week

In the end, it wasn’t good enough to engineer victory, which remains the most important thing. But in terms of aesthetics, the eye-test, it represents progress.

In his fourth start in a Steelers uniform, Justin Fields completed 22-of-34 (64.7 percent) for 312 yards, with 1 touchdown, no interceptions, and a rating of 104.0. He also led the Steelers with 55 yards rushing in 10 carries (5.5 average) and scored 2 touchdowns. The 27-24 loss in Indianapolis marked the first time the Steelers scored 3 touchdowns this season, and it was the first game since Oct. 9, 2022, that they had a quarterback pass for 300 yards in a regular season game.
