Police were alerted to reports of shots fired in the parking lot shortly after 8 p.m., according to LMPD spokesman John Bradley.

Were any football players injured in the PRP shooting?

According to witnesses on the ground, the shooting occurred at the same time as a chaotic scene was unfolding on the football field.

According to Sowells, both players were on the ground for approximately three to five minutes before the shooting took place.

After the shots were heard, many fans moved under the stands while players were escorted to the locker room for their safety, according to the principals of both schools in a joint email to parents Sunday evening.
