Tennessee Titans earn first win despite losing Will Levis

The Tennessee Titans are victorious for the first time this season after a 31-12 win over the Miami Dolphins on Monday Night Football at Hard Rock Stadium.

The Dolphins entered the game with a backup quarterback in Tyler “Snoop” Huntley, who made his debut for the team, but the Titans finished the game with their own second-string signal-caller.

After the second drive of the first quarter, Will Levis injured his shoulder after unsuccessfully diving for a first down. He entered the blue medical tent on the sidelines, but never went to the locker room. Despite this, Mason Rudolph played the rest of the game for the Titans.

While Rudolph led to just two touchdowns, he was serviceable all night, completing 9 of 17 passes for 85 yards. Rudolph and the Titans may have struggled to find the end zone, but they managed to get within field goal range of Nick Folk five times, and the veteran kicker made each of his attempts.

It wasn’t the cleanest win for the Titans, especially since it came against an anemic and struggling offense, but Tennessee needed a win so badly that it didn’t matter what form it was in which she presents herself to. A win is a win for a winless team. .

It remains to be seen who will be the starting quarterback. Coach Brian Callahan will likely be asked about it in the postgame press conference, but he won’t have to give an answer until the team plays its next game, which isn’t happening. before a little while.

The Titans can now use this win to build momentum as they enter their bye week. The Titans’ next game will be in Week 6 at home when they take on Anthony Richardson and the Indianapolis Colts.
