Meet Double Dutch 50 – the 1,737-pound giant pumpkin

HUNT VALLEY, Md. — It’s that time of year again when Valley View Farms hosts a giant pumpkin counting down the days until Halloween.

This year’s pumpkin is dubbed Double Dutch 50.

Weighing 1,737 pounds, Dutch is expected to arrive in Valley View around 10 a.m. Wednesday.

Dutch will be on display until November 2, when all of his seeds will be counted.

Whoever guesses the correct number of seeds wins a $300 Valley View gift card.

Valley View has made it a long-standing tradition to welcome a new giant pumpkin each fall season.

Last year, Aunt Lisa weighed 1,378 pounds.
