Suspect charged in connection with Greenfield murder

GREENFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) – A Greenfield man accused of murder has been charged and will be arraigned in Franklin County Superior Court later this month.

Taaniel Herberger-Brown, 42, was arrested on murder charges in April after Greenfield police found the body of Christopher Hairston, 35, of Pittsfield, in Herberger-Brown’s apartment.

He pleaded not guilty to the murder charge in Greenfield District Court in July.

According to the Northwest District Attorney’s Office, the arraignment date is set for October 21.
