Harris campaign reminds JD Vance to ask why Trump VP job is available

Kamala Harris’ campaign team trolled Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio) Wednesday with a simple reminder about what he should ask his potential future boss.

The Harris campaign’s brazen post referenced the former president’s alleged response to “Hang Mike Pence” chants that took place on January 6, 2021, after Pence refused to agree to a plan to allow states to authorize lists of candidates. fake voters to submit.

Trump advisers said the former president encouraged chants, as well as lies that the 2020 election was stolen, according to former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.), who was one of the investigators principals of the House select committee on January 6.

During Tuesday’s debate with Gov. Tim Walz (D-Minn.), the Republican vice presidential candidate refused to answer whether Trump lost in 2020, saying only, “I’m focused on the future.”

The Minnesota governor correctly noted that Vance’s response was “a damning non-response.”

During the debate, Vance also dodged a question about whether he would try to overturn the November election results if given the chance, even though he had previously said he would have followed a plan let states authorize lists of fake voters to submit.

Walz reminded Vance that Pence had refused to follow through with this plan.

“(Trump) lost the election. It’s not a debate,” Walz said. “This isn’t happening anywhere other than in Donald Trump’s world, because, look, when Mike Pence made the decision to certify this election, that’s why Mike Pence is not on this stage.

Many people were amused by the Harris campaign’s message.

Are you suggesting that if we threaten to hang an employee, no candidate should ever take their position? How do you want us to run our business?

This is good business practice.

It can also help keep your head out of a noose.

I’m just saying…

Judging by Pence’s experience, being Trump’s vice president might be the most dangerous job in America. MAGA extremists even called for his death.

Let’s vote!!!💙
