Amazon announces 8,000 seasonal job openings in Illinois

(WIFR) – As the holiday season approaches, Amazon is advertising 8,000 part-time and full-time job openings in Illinois.

Seasonal jobs at Amazon include competitive salaries and flexible schedules, and Amazon says that about a third of seasonal employees transition to regular, full-time employment after the holidays.

All seasonal employees earn at least $18 an hour and have access to health care, and any seasonal employee who stays with the company sees an average salary increase of 15% over the first three years.

Amazon recommends potential candidates register early, as seasonal positions often fill quickly. There are 250,000 positions available in the United States
