Meghan Markle brutally snubbed in the ‘most British way you could imagine’ by the royal family | Royal | News

Meghan Markle received the “most powerful message” from the royal family when she remained silent on her birthday, a PR expert has claimed.

In what has been described as “the most British snub imaginable”, 10Yetis’ Andy Barr said they all failed to publicly wish him happy birthday on social media last year last.

It is understood that these wishes are published at 9 a.m. sharp. The Duchess of Sussex celebrated her birthday in August 2023 in style in Montecito, California.

She turned 42 on August 6, 2023, and the royal family apparently snubbed her when she didn’t post about the mother-of-two’s milestone day of celebration.

This year, nothing has been said on social media about the Duchess. 10Yetis’ Andy Barr told Mirror US: “Sometimes the most powerful message you can send is when you say absolutely nothing.”

He added: “I’m sure there will have been communications behind the scenes to wish him a happy birthday, but the silence on social media is the most British snub imaginable.”

He added: “The modern social media equivalent of saying ‘I’m fine’ when that’s clearly not the case. If the royal family had said something, it would have been over-analyzed as well, so perhaps they thought it was better to keep quiet.

“Let’s not forget that the royal family are masters of the long game and they will not have forgotten the level of pain that Meghan and Harry have caused them in the very recent past, particularly at a time when the country mourned the loss of the queen.

“Maybe it’s time for Meghan and Harry to test the waters and send a few heart emojis via Instagram.”

Absolute.digital’s Ben Austin told Mirror US that this year they “failed to publicly wish Meghan a happy birthday despite having done so before, further highlighting this year’s snub.”

He continued: “This comes at a time when Harry and Meghan have stepped down as senior royals, even though the big day had been celebrated by official royal accounts in the past. This leads us to believe that there may be a stronger message beneath the surface for not doing it.”

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped down as working members of the royal family in 2020.

The couple then moved to Montecito, California several months later to begin their new life away from England with their growing family. The husband and wife duo now reside in the Santa Barbra neighborhood with their two children Archie and Lilibet.
