Maryland State Police Arrest Road Rager Who Shot Woman With His Gun

GREKESPRING, MD – Maryland State Police arrested a 41-year-old man, David Belt, Jr., of White Hall, Maryland, following an alleged armed road rage incident Thursday afternoon in Baltimore County. Belt faces charges including first- and second-degree assault and firearms offenses after consultation with the Baltimore County State’s Attorney’s Office.

The incident reportedly took place shortly after 2:30 p.m. on Interstate 695 near Greenspring Avenue. According to the victim, who remains unidentified, the driver of a Ford, identified as Belt, pointed a gun at her during the altercation. No injuries were reported following the incident.

Officers from the Maryland State Police Criminal Enforcement Division responded quickly and took over the investigation. Belt’s vehicle was located Thursday evening, leading to his arrest and subsequent transportation to the Baltimore County Detention Center. During the arrest, police found two loaded handguns and the investigation into this matter continues.

    SCHENECTADY, ​​NY – Thursday evening, a 13-year-old Schenectady High School student was arrested by officers with the Schenectady Police Department. This arrest follows an investigation into threats made on social networks, particularly on TikTok.

    The investigation, supported by the FBI and New York State Police, led to the identification of the threatening messages. The juvenile reportedly said on TikTok: “I’m going to shoot up the school” and “I’m going to shoot up this school.” A subsequent search of the suspect’s home revealed no weapons.

    Authorities charged the youth with making a terroristic threat, classified as a class D felony. Despite the seriousness of the charge, no other threats were identified.

    The Schenectady Police Department continues to work with the Schenectady School District to ensure safety. Due to the age of the suspect, additional information remains limited.

  • Two people arrested after armed robbery in Woodbridge

    WOODBRIDGE, Va. — Police arrested two men early Thursday morning in connection with an armed robbery that occurred in the 4800 block of Kirkdale Road, authorities said.

    The incident occurred around 1:31 a.m. on October 3, when a 20-year-old man attempted to purchase illegal narcotics from two men he knew. The suspects, identified as Gregory Alphonzo Evans and Gabriel Alexander Bruins, allegedly began hitting the victim and then took his phone. During the encounter, one of the men brandished a gun.

    The victim, who suffered non-life-threatening injuries, encountered police as he left the scene. Police located and arrested Evans and Bruins nearby without incident.

    Gregory Alphonzo Evans, 23, of 4814 Kirkdale Drive, and Gabriel Alexander Bruins, 23, of 3519 Forestdale Avenue, were both charged with robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery and use of a firearm during the commission of a crime. The Bruins also face additional charges of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Both men are being held without bail.

    Court dates for both suspects are pending.

  • Armed robbery in Woodbridge, suspects remain at large

    WOODBRIDGE, Va. — Police are searching for two suspects involved in an early morning armed robbery that took place Friday in the 14700 block of Worth Avenue, authorities said.

    Around 1:21 a.m., a man in his 20s was walking in the area when two men approached him from behind. One of the men suggested he had a weapon and demanded money from the victim before the two suspects fled on foot. No injuries were reported.

    Officers, along with a police K-9 unit, searched the area but were unable to locate the suspects. Both individuals were described as black men wearing dark-colored clothing, with one of the suspects having dreadlocked hair.

    The investigation is ongoing and police are continuing their efforts to identify the suspects.
