ESPN College GameDay announces Ohio State vs. Oregon as Week 7 destination

ESPN’s College GameDay is heading to Ohio State vs. Oregon in Eugene as its Week 7 destination, the network announced. The highly anticipated matchup is one of the many notable games highlighting the slate, including the Red River Rivalry between Oklahoma and Texas.

Ohio State and Oregon were the top two teams in the Big Ten preseason media poll this year as both teams brought high expectations into the season. The Ducks are one of four newcomers in the Big Ten, but next week’s matchup was viewed as a potential College Football PlayoffEdit appetizer when the schedule first came out.

Now, ESPN’s College GameDay will be in attendance. The show will set the table for the 7:30 pm ET kickoff on NBC.

Week 7 is sure to have one of the most exciting schedule of games of the season. Not only are Ohio State and Oregon squaring off, but Texas and Oklahoma will renew their rivalry in the Cotton Bowl for the first time as SEC members.
