Jabrill Peppers claimed a request for a sex act led to an alleged abuse incident

Jabrill Peppers said the story was different from what his alleged victim told police when he was arrested Saturday.

The woman, his girlfriend, told police the Patriots captain and former Giant became violent with her around 4 a.m. — putting his hands on her neck, banging her head against the wall, then by throwing her down the stairs after receiving a phone call saying he didn’t like them while they were having sex, according to a police report viewed by TMZ.

The 29-year-old NFL veteran faces charges of assault, strangulation and drug possession in connection with the incident.

However, Peppers told authorities at the scene that it had never gotten that far — and that the woman had been acting “erratically” and was intoxicated.

“According to Jabrill,” authorities said in the police report, “(the woman) continued to behave erratically and refused to leave. According to Jabrill, (the woman) fell down the stairs by herself because she was drunk. He denied pushing her down the stairs and said she was making the allegations in a bid to destroy his career.

Police also said they found a baggie containing white powder in his wallet, which they believe was cocaine.
