LEXINGTON, SC (WOLO) – The person who died after a two-vehicle collision was identified by the Lexington County coroner, the coroner’s office says.

The collision occurred on Sunday, October 27 at around 4:58 pm at the intersection of Martin Neese Road and Hwy 6 in the Swansea area.

Marion Phillip Glymph, 68, of Lexington was driving north on Martin Neese Road when he was struck at the intersection by a vehicle traveling east on Hwy 6, according to Coroner Margaret Fisher.

Glymph, who was wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene from injuries sustained during the collision.

Two people in the other vehicle were taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Lexington County Coroner’s Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol continue to investigate the incident.
