Sean “Diddy” Combs accused of sexually assaulting two underage boys in new civil lawsuits

HOUSTON, United States

Two new civil lawsuits have been filed against Sean “Diddy” Combs, accusing the music star of sexually assaulting two underage boys, news media said.

The charges were released Monday after lawsuits were filed in New York state.

In the first lawsuit, the victim claims he was assaulted by Combs in 2005 when he was 10 years old and went to New York for a private audition with the rapper and producer. According to the lawsuit, the boy sang several songs for Combs, who told him he had the potential to become a star.

A third person at the audition gave the boy a soda that made him feel “funny,” and when he resisted Combs’ advances, the accuser said the rap star attacked him. The lawsuit goes on to say that the boy lost consciousness and woke up in pain and with his pants undone. Combs allegedly told the victim that if he told anyone he would hurt his parents.

In the second lawsuit, an unnamed plaintiff said he was 17 at the time of the alleged assault, when he auditioned for Combs’ MTV reality competition “Making the Band” in 2008. The complaint indicated that Combs and his police bodyguard allegedly forced teenager to perform sexual acts.

Combs is currently behind bars at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York, where he has been incarcerated since his arrest in September on federal criminal charges of sex trafficking and racketeering. He was denied bail and will remain in custody until his trial, which is expected to begin in May

Combs and his representatives have denied all allegations to numerous media outlets, including the BBC, which received a statement saying Combs “has never sexually abused or trafficked anyone – male or female, adult or minor.”

If convicted of racketeering, Combs could face life in prison.

In addition to federal criminal charges, the music mogul has also faced more than two dozen civil lawsuits in recent months with allegations including rape, underage sexual assault and sexual extortion.

The two lawsuits filed Monday were filed by Houston attorney Tony Buzbee, who said he represents more than 100 alleged victims.

Buzbee revealed that he plans to file dozens more civil lawsuits against Combs in the coming weeks.
