Law Roach on why he's proud to be part of Pepsi's iconic lineage

Law Roach is everywhere now. And for good reason, the multiple hyphen has entered an age where he shines brightly. His latest achievement? A collaboration capsule with Pepsi that is currently available for pre-order online starting today. When the celebrity stylist and image architect is tasked to describe how he feels about being part of the Pepsi line, he shares that he has always had a connection with the brand. “I remember the excitement of seeing the outfits of the Pepsi delivery people and the joy of watching those commercials with my grandfather,” he shared in an email. These are all reasons why the new collaboration is self-evident for Law.

“I’m excited to start this new wave with the brand, especially with this collection designed to celebrate individuality and capture the essence of a new Pepsi generation,” he added. Let’s not forget the stars who once co-signed with Pepsi, including legends Michael Jackson and Beyoncé – now Law proudly joins that number.

The capsule highlights a fusion of the brand’s classic appeal and Roach’s avant-garde style, which also nods to 1970s roller skating culture. Designs include sleek bomber jackets, a denim jumpsuit, track pants, cropped T-shirts, statement shorts and crew socks. Monochromatic hats complete the collection.

Speaking about the inspiration behind the latest collection, Law said it was completely inspired by Pepsi’s Wild Cherry flavour. “We brought that sweet, juicy flavor to life with bold colors and sharp cuts to suit any style,” he said.

Law also shared that this is the perfect time for him to fully delve into all of his creative expressions. This points to how this line embodies its ongoing expansionist era. He said that when he collaborated with Pepsi on this fashion collection, he wanted to create pieces that celebrate the past and also resonate with the present. So basically, he’s urging Gen Z to take on his latest venture.

“The Pepsi brand has been a cultural trendsetter for more than 125 years, and design has always been an essential part of that journey,” said Jenny Danzi, head of Pepsi Marketing. “Between the delicious, bold flavor and striking design of our Pepsi Wild Cherry and PepsiZero SugarWild Cherry, it’s no surprise that this is one of our most sought-after colas.”
