Strictly Come Dancing’s Aljaž Škorjanec shocked by Traitors star’s ‘cameo’

Come dance strictly had an unexpected crossover with The traitors during last weekend’s episode that shocked professional dancer Aljaž Škorjanec… four days later.

“Can we go back to the photo?” Aljaž asked Janette before adding, “That’s the lady from Traitors?”

“Yes, it is. Moving on. It’s Diane. Diane is in the building,” Janette said, confirming that it was indeed Diane Carson.

“I knew it! Look at her!” Aljaž said in shock.

“Look, she’s not very excited,” Janette joked, seeing Diane’s unimpressed expression.

Meanwhile, Tasha was thrilled to have her mother and grandmother Strictly for the first time.

“They are very proud,” she said. “My grandmother is my best friend. She has always been my biggest supporter, she always believed in me.”

Next week, Tasha and Aljaž will dance a tarot-inspired tango to ‘Dog Days Are Over’ by Florence & the Machine.

“It’s going to be very mystical,” Aljaž joked about the dance. “I can’t wait until the end to see what the future holds.”

Come dance strictly airs on Saturdays on BBC One, as a spinoff Strictly: it takes two airs weekdays on BBC Two. Both programs are available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
