Woman in shock after trash can thrown through window of Wilkes Barre home


Wilkes-Barre, PA – A criminal incident was reported to the City of Wilkes-Barre Police Department on October 14 at 8:32 p.m. Officers responded to the scene on Brown Street following the report.

The victim, a 35-year-old Wilkes-Barre woman, stated that an unknown suspect threw a trash can through an exterior window in the back of the home. The action resulted in the window breaking.

Police have not yet identified the suspect and the investigation is ongoing. The case is being handled under IRC number 240223298.

Prosecutors revealed that Singh was found with 50 kilograms of MDMA, with an estimated street value of $3.2 million. The drug, known as molly, acts as both a stimulant and a hallucinogen.

    Singh was detained without incident and charged with possession with intent to distribute. New Jersey State Police assisted with arrest operations. After his first court appearance, Singh was released under specific conditions.

    Assistant U.S. Attorney Rosie Bolte will handle the case for the state, while Herminia Moreira, Esq, represented Singh. Possession of large quantities of MDMA is a first-degree felony, with potential penalties including a prison sentence of between 10 and 20 years and fines of up to $200,000. Singh remains legally considered innocent until proven guilty.

    Frederick, MD – The Frederick Police Department has noticed an increase in airbag thefts in the city, particularly affecting Honda vehicles. Thieves are said to be breaking car windows to gain access to these vehicles and removing airbags from the steering wheel columns.

    The stolen airbags are suspected of being sold to retailers or suppliers. Officials are appealing to residents, especially in the Wyngate and Carrollton neighborhoods, to help with this issue.
