This marble-clad seaside home in SoCal is on the market for million

For many years Vinod Jivrajka lived in the coastal district Palos Verdes Estatesapproximately 30 miles from downtown Los Angeles. But late last year, the cardiologist moved domestically when he shelled out $34.5 million for one opulent neoclassical style distributed in LA’s Holmby Hills neighborhood, which starred in the Hulu miniseries The fallout. Now he’s ready to say goodbye to his former hometown, after adding the Tuscan-style spread on top South Bay‘s Malaga Cove neighborhood for sale for just under 18 million dollars.

The former president and CEO of AppleCare Medical Management and current chairman of Epibron acquired the property in 2011 for $3 million and subsequently undertook an extensive renovation that was completed in 2017. Tucked behind a gated driveway and a fountain-lined courtyard, the three-story structure with stucco and terra cotta roof sits amid an almost one-acre plot on a cliff with sweeping views of the coastline. Inside, seven bedrooms and ten bathrooms are spread across nearly 12,000 square feet of living space filled with hand-selected marble.

A double-height entrance hall with a double wrought iron staircase and a pair of custom Murano chandeliers leads to the formal living and dining rooms, while the gourmet kitchen has a large island and an accompanying breakfast area that opens onto a large dining terrace with a fireplace and a grill station. Two offices can be found on the ground floor and in a secluded primary wing, which also features a fireplace, a lounge area, a private balcony, a walk-in closet and a luxurious bathroom fitted with a bathtub side to a glass-enclosed shower.

One of the unexpected features of the property is a fire pit integrated into the ocean view pool.

Elsewhere is a ballroom-style venue with a hip bar and wine cellar. Arched French doors lead outside, where the lushly landscaped grounds are accented by a free-form swimming pool, anchored by a built-in seating area with a fire pit, plus numerous spots ideal for outdoor lounging and entertaining. There is also a detached garage for three cars on the property.

The mention is owned by Lea Porter of The Beverly Hills Estates and Ram Handa of Hilton & Hyland/Forbes Global Properties.
