Wichita Falls Announces Land Sale Notice

WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) – The City of Wichita Falls announced it is selling a parcel of property to the general public via sealed bid.

The plot available for sale is “Lot No. Seven (7), Block No. (1), Blackmon & Williams Addition to the Town of Wichita Falls, Wichita County, Texas” otherwise known as 808 Roosevelt Street.

Bids will open at 2 p.m. Friday, May 10 at the City of Wichita Falls Property Management Office, located at 719 Scott Ave. Suite 800.

Below are the guidelines those wishing to bid should follow, according to the City of Wichita Falls:

Bids must be submitted on an official bid form provided by the Property Management Division.
Bids must be accompanied by a cashier’s check for 10% of the total bid amount and sealed in a specially marked envelope with your signature on the seal.
Bids may be submitted prior to opening but must be submitted to the Property Management Office no later than May 10, at 1:30 p.m. in Suite 800, where specifications and additional bid information are also available.

The property will be open to the public on May 8, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
