Salem City Council to consider “Flower Festival” request

Salem City Council to consider “Flower Festival” request

The Salem City Council will consider a request Monday evening from the Daffy Dill Garden Club to use Bryan Memorial Park on June 22 for a flower festival. The event will be centered by the Bryan statue. Vendors and Food Trucks will be in the spotlight. In the past, the Bryan Statue event was held in conjunction with a garden tour, but the club chose not to host the tour this year.

The council is expected to meet behind closed doors to discuss possible legal action.

The meeting begins at six o’clock Monday evening at Salem City Hall.
