Idina Menzel forgives John Travolta’s Oscars mistake

John Travolta’s massive boobs at this year’s Oscars caused much embarrassment and hilarity on the internet after he mispronounced Idina Menzel’s name while introducing her performance.

But Menzel – or “Adele Dazeem,” as she has since become known – isn’t at all upset by the actor’s mistake.

In a recent interview with Billboard magazine, the Broadway star, who lent his voice to the soundtrack of last year’s Disney hit Frozen, admitted: “It threw me off for a minute, but then I got back on track and remembered where I was and what a beautiful moment it was.

Menzel then revealed that she had completely forgiven Travolta, adding that she had actually benefited from the incident that made her a household name. She also revealed that in addition to his public apology, Travolta apologized with flowers and via email.

“He was really kind and sent this beautiful email, and we’re friends and everything’s great,” she insisted, adding, “Please. I mean, I don’t have any than benefited.

Menzel returns to Broadway this month with a new show If/Then, about a woman in her 40s who deals with an unplanned pregnancy.
