YouTube star Sam Rader admitted he was unable to sleep and was “super nervous” ahead of the release of Netflix’s Ashley Madison docuseries in which he and his wife will appear – seven years after the cheating website hack and its name. from the list of users.

Ashley Madison launched in 2001 as a dating site for spouses looking to be unfaithful and told those who were married to accept infidelity, becoming known for its slogan “Life is short.” Have a deal.’

More than 37 million cheating spouses have taken the bait and created a profile on the site in the hopes of getting under the sheets with another married stranger.

And although the dating page proved hugely popular, everything fell apart for the brand when it was hacked in 2015 – with all of the site’s names leaked and ruining marriages.

YouTube star Sam Rader admitted he was “super nervous” ahead of the release of Netflix’s Ashley Madison docuseries in which he and his wife, Nia, will appear.

One of the members who was forced to deal with the ruins left in the wake of the hack was vlogger Christian Sam, who is married to another content creator, Nia.

On their joint YouTube channel, Sam And Nia, the couple uploaded a new video titled “Our Lives Will Never Be the Same… We’re Coming to Netflix” on Saturday following the release of Ashley’s trailer Madison: Sex, lies and scandal.

The lovebirds admitted to being part of the docuseries while Sam admitted he hasn’t been able to sleep because he’s been thinking about their story.

“I haven’t been able to sleep the last few days, it’s been hard,” he revealed

The couple explained that they first received an email about the Netflix docuseries in February 2022 before telling viewers that they talked even more about their journey in their next book, which is due out on May 16.

Sam and Nia also shared that they weren’t sure how their story would “play out” on the streaming platform.

“I just don’t know how our story is going to play out, or whether it will be portrayed accurately,” he said.

Last week, the couple also hinted at the docuseries with a video titled “We’re Super Nervous,” just a day before the trailer for the Netflix show was released.

Although they didn’t name the project in this video, they alluded to their “nervousness” about an event their followers would experience “pretty soon.”

“It’s almost happening,” Sam tells his wife in the clip, before adding, “How are you feeling?”

Nia then seems to laugh nervously.

“I feel like every day I have to overcome a new (level)… I have to like go through the steps like why did we do this, what was our goal, why did we do it and forget the nerves behind it,” she replied.

“Yeah, I keep asking why too,” Sam adds.

“Why was I up for this?” What was I thinking?’

Nia continues: “I’m going to try to fall asleep and suddenly this new thought pops into my head, a new person seeing it, like I’m having a reaction and I have to talk myself out of worrying about what that person is going to think or say.”

Sam then says he “imagines our phones are going to blow up with texts from a bunch of people we haven’t heard from in a long time”, with Nia adding: “God, I hope not.”

“And for those of you who don’t know what’s going on, let me just say…” Sam said.

“Neither do we,” Nia jokes, “No, I’m just kidding.”

Accompanying him, Sam quips: “Yeah, us neither. What the hell are we talking about?

He then continues: “So you guys will find out soon enough and when you come back… let us know what we did, why we did it?”

Sam said he was going camping with their son, Abram, “but something big might happen while I’m gone, so we’re just talking with each other, preparing for it, just in case “It’s happening, we don’t know it yet.

“Shit could hit the ceiling fan,” he added.

The documentary series features the couple and also appears to feature testimonials from other Ashley Madison members and employees.
The trailer for the three-part documentary series, Ashley Madison: Sex, Lies, And Scandal, was released on YouTube on Thursday. It will be streaming on Netflix starting May 15.

Later, Nia says, “If that’s the case, we have to make a decision now…are we going to watch it together or are we going to keep each other waiting?”

“I think we should watch it and text each other, I don’t want to wait.”

Sam agreed with this position.

Below the video, a fan alluded to the Netflix docuseries that was coming out.

‘I just saw the trailer!!!! Honestly, I’m so excited! I’ve been watching for a long time and remember when it all happened. I’m really proud that you can talk about it, worked through everything and decided to make this documentary! I can not wait !!!!’ they said.

The trailer for the three-part documentary series, Ashley Madison: Sex, Lies, And Scandal, was released on YouTube on Thursday – and is set to premiere on May 15.

“I love being a dad, I love my wife, it was a beautiful marriage but it was also monotonous,” the first man featured in the trailer – who appears to be Sam – said.

“I remember seeing an ad. “Life is short. Have an affair.” This sounds intriguing.

The trailer then cuts to clips of other couples who have used the site and Ashley Madison employees.

“Ashley Madison was ahead of her time,” said one – anonymous – woman.

In 2015, hackers calling themselves the “Impact Team” stole 32 million data records from the extramarital affairs website.

Another man – who appeared to work for the company and be on the site – said: “The vision was to be the biggest and only website for married people who wanted to have an affair. When I went to trade shows, they asked me, “Who is your biggest competitor?” » And I would say: “The Bible”.

A second woman said: “I thought it was a good idea, go to a site, and you can confide to this stranger your deepest, darkest desires.”

“I signed up with all my real information, which was obviously a stupid decision,” Sam said.

Meanwhile, company employees noted that “security” had become an increased issue – adding that they were “worried” about it.

“Ashley Madison was a cash cow and then all of a sudden we got hacked,” one employee said.

In 2015, hackers calling themselves the “Impact Team” stole 32 million data records from the extramarital affairs website.

The hackers demanded that the site be shut down, which was not done, and as a result the names of everyone involved in a case were made public.

Marriages have been destroyed because of the flight as well as lives; the Florida state attorney was forced to resign and a New Orleans pastor committed suicide.
