The Webster City Community School Board will meet Monday evening, May 13.

The Webster City Community School Board will meet Monday evening, May 13 at 6:00 p.m. at the School Administration office on Des Moines Street. Monday’s agenda will include a report from Webster City School Superintendent Matt Berninghaus, consider a budget guarantee resolution and an amendment to the 2024 budget. The board will consider the audit firm’s proposal, approval of board policies, will review Sunset Heights Elementary School principal and fundraising requests. The Webster City School Board will accept the resignations of paraeducator Troy Duffy, high school English teacher Jeri Jass, middle school special education teacher Carol Quint and paraeducator Sunshine Duffy. Transfer requests should be considered for Cali Peterson from first grade teacher to instructional coach, Lisa Lyons from fifth grade teacher to Title 1 teacher, Danika Klaver from high school science teacher to coach instructional, Emily Pruismann from instructional coach to ELL teacher and Caitlynn Findley from kindergarten teacher to special education teacher. Subsequent hires will be reviewed for approval. They include Darcy Cosens as interim preschool principal, Jessica Stanley as K-12 TAG teacher, Taylor Adams as high school agriculture teacher, and Marty McKinney as coach head of women’s basketball.
