Former President Donald Trump will remain in the key battleground state of North Carolina on Tuesday after campaigning there on Monday.

Trump is scheduled to hold a rally at the Greensboro Coliseum on Tuesday night at 7 p.m. A press release for the event indicates that it will discuss the economy, criticizing Vice President Kamala Harris for inflation.

His campaign takes place just two weeks before Election Day, but more than 1 million people have already voted in the Tar Heel State, a swing state for the 2024 presidential election. Polls show that everything indicates it will be a close race between Trump and Harris.

Yesterday’s news: Trump campaigns in North Carolina

On Monday, Trump toured the damage caused by Hurricane Helene in Asheville. He raised money for people affected by the storm, but also spread misinformation about President Joe Biden’s response to the disaster.

He promised to help the community recover “if” he wins the election, encouraging people to vote.

He also organized a rally in Greenville, North Carolina, on Monday.

Harris, meanwhile, has been campaigning with Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo. in other swing states earlier this week.

The Trump campaign’s turnaround in North Carolina comes after Trump made headlines over the weekend for talking about the late Arnold Palmer’s male anatomy and working at a McDonald’s drive-through.
