Amanda was dressed in a black coat, while her son wore a spotted neon orange coat.

In another part of the Instagram post, she sat on a grassy verge with Sidney and the two smiled as they chatted, and in another photo, Amanda showed two of her daughters sitting on a bale of hay and on a window ledge in the sun. .

She captioned the photo: ‘Preparing for winter housing on a bit of a busy day,’ but fans flooded the comments with concerns about her weight.

Commenting under a photo of the mother-of-nine with her son, some of Amanda’s Instagram followers cruelly drew attention to her weight.

One wrote: “Mom looks almost unrecognizable, so, so thin.”

While another said: ‘Mum looks terribly thin.’

Many were quick to rush to Amanda’s defense and condemn the comments as body shaming.

‘It’s 2024, we don’t make judgments about women’s bodies. Especially strong female farmers that you don’t know personally,” one of them fumed.

“Please don’t be ashamed of your body, totally out of order,” echoed another.

Amanda’s post comes following her public split from husband Clive.

The couple split after more than 20 years of marriage, but came together once again for their latest series.

And although the former couple appear to be on friendly terms, the new show won’t see them rekindle their romance, much to fans’ disappointment.

The Our Farm presenters first took to our screens in 2011 when they made their debut showing viewers the realities of life on their Yorkshire farm, Swandale.

The show followed the couple as they ran their farm and raised their nine children.

But the idyllic family life came crashing down after the couple split in 2022 after 22 years of marriage.

But despite ending their romantic relationship, Amanda and Clive have continued to work together on their farm in Ravenseat and have now taken on the huge task of rebuilding a stone barn.

The pair announced their split after the Yorkshire air hostess’s affair with lover Robert was exposed.

Robert, who has been married five times, is divorcing his ex-wife Yasumi, 57, after she exposed their affair in April last year.

His wife found a love letter from Amanda in the trunk of his car. The letter said: ‘Robert, life is too short and happiness is too rare. I love you.’

Clive and Amanda began their divorce last year but have remained cordial with their nine children, who include Raven, 22, Reuben, 20, Miles, 17, Edith, 15, Violet, 13, Sidney, 12, Annas, Dec, Clemmy, eight, and Nancy, seven years old.
