Raven’s Home canceled after 6 seasons on Disney Channel, an Alice-centered spinoff pilot in the works

The future does not look bright for The Raven’s Housewhich was officially canceled by Disney Channel after six seasons, our sister site Deadline reports.

A sequence of It’s so Ravenbroadcast on Disney Channel from 2003 to 2007, The Raven’s House reunited viewers with the sitcom’s titular psychic (played by Raven-Symoné), who was now a mother to twins — including son Booker (Issac Ryan Brown), who has clairvoyant powers of his own. Set in Chicago for its first four seasons, The Raven’s House eventually moved to San Francisco (i.e. the original setting of It’s so Raven) for the rest of its execution.

In addition to the mediums mentioned above, the original cast of The Raven’s House included Navia Robinson as Raven’s daughter Nia, Anneliese van der Pol as Raven’s best friend, Jason Maybaum as Chelsea’s son Levi and Sky Katz as their neighbor Tess. Almost all of these actors left before season 5, which then introduced Rondell Sheridan as Raven’s father Victor, Mykal-Michelle Harris as Raven’s niece Alice, Felix Avitia as Raven’s Booker’s new friend, Neil, and Emmy Liu-Wang as Ivy, Victor’s neighbor.

The Raven’s HouseThe season 6 finale of , which will now serve as the series finale, aired on September 3, 2023.

As part of an overall deal with Disney Branded Television, Raven-Symoné will produce and direct Alice in the Palace, a comedy pilot that follows Alice to England, where she reunites with her doppelganger, Duchess Clementine. Harris will play both Alice and the Duchess.
