Owner Shocked by Cat’s Hilarious Reaction to Northern Lights

People couldn’t believe their chances when the Northern Lights were visible in the UK on Friday.

Dazzling in many parts of the country, the sky became a magical combination of pinks, purples and greens, and many people rushed to capture the stunning scene on camera.

PJ managed to photograph the sky from his garden in Brighton, subsequently sharing the image on social media.

He may have expected the breathtaking lights to take center stage, but it was PJ’s cat that ended up getting all the attention. Today, with over 4.2 million views, she has become something of an internet sensation.

“She does not care”

“My cat just experienced the Northern Lights, one of the most radiant natural phenomena in the world… and he doesn’t care,” the TikTok user joked.

Her cat seems completely unaffected by the lights, lying quietly on the fence as if it were an evening like any other.

“This cat didn’t care”, agreed one user, while another replied: “Cats are the only animals that don’t care about anything.”

“She knows that she is in fact the most radiant natural phenomenon in the world,” explained an amused viewer. And given the cat’s reaction, he may be right!
