Selena Gomez remembers ‘dancing like crazy’ during audition

“I had no idea what concept he was going for… ‘Act drunk and throw your shoes if you want… go crazy.’ And I was like, ‘Oh, okay,’” Selena said of Audiard.

She performed the most important sequence for the audition, a musical performance called ‘Bienvenida’.

“I did it once, and Audiard said, ‘Get crazier.’ And I went totally ahead, I was standing on the furniture and I passed out, but I was singing my heart out and dancing like a crazy woman – and it was a really crazy experience,” said the actress.

“I was honored when he decided to go with me,” she added.
