LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – The Louisville Field Division of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) is offering a reward to anyone who can provide information that leads to an arson arrest.

Announced on Monday, October 21, the ATF said a reward of up to $10,000 is offered for information leading to the arrest of the person responsible for the November 16, 2023 arson at the U.S. Probation and Parole Office. Kentucky Department of Corrections, located at 2022 Commerce Parkway, Suite C, La Grange, KY 40031.

The investigation is being conducted by the ATF, the Oldham County Fire Department and the La Grange Police Department.

The building was set on fire by an unknown suspect shortly after midnight on November 16, 2023. Surveillance shows the person arriving and leaving the location in a white SUV.

The ATF is asking for the public’s help in identifying the person(s) of interest in this investigation.
