(International) Terrorist attacks on Turkish defense industry enterprises… “Incident of the Eight”

“The facilities of Türkiye Aerospace Industries and TUSAS in the Kahramankazan region of Ankara were terrorized,” Turkiye Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya wrote on social media on Sunday.

“Three people died and five others were injured in the attack,” Cahramankajan mayor Selim Sirpanoglu told local media.

During security staff’s shift, armed men arrived at the facility’s entrance in a taxi, detonated a bomb and entered, local NTV said. “Filming continues on location.”

“Some of the facility’s employees may be held hostage,” he added.

Türkiye Aerospace Industries is the manufacturer of Turkiye’s first home-made fighter jet, the KAAN.
