Paolo Banchero’s real-time reaction to Jalen Suggs’ contract extension with the Magic

Orlando Magic point guard Jalen Suggs was the man of the hour on Monday afternoon.

All-Star forward Paolo Banchero also had a reaction, but was unable to do so immediately on social media. He’s the subject of a documentary-style player diary with Andscape this season, and the cameras were rolling when the alert hit everyone’s phones. It was Marc Spears who broke the news to Banchero, who demonstrated his true and raw reaction to the moment.

Spears posted the clip as a preview of the entire play on social media on Wednesday, before the Magic’s first game against Miami.

It’s clear that the initial shock washes over his face when he hears the news before asking if it’s true.
