Casemiro was far from happy with his Manchester United teammate Alejandro Garnacho during Sunday evening’s Premier League match against Chelsea.

Under the watchful eye of club legend Ruud van Nistelrooy, the Red Devils played their first competition match since the dismissal of Erik ten Hag.

Manchester United vs Chelsea – as it happened

It was a dull and stiff match with only a few clear chances, while the two teams played on equal terms. Robert Sanchez conceded another penalty after felling Rasmus Hojlund in the penalty area. Bruno Fernandes made no mistake from the spot and broke the deadlock.

Moises Caicedo’s goal against Manchester United

The lead didn’t last long, however, as Moises Caicedo grabbed his first of the season at the other end, firing in a low shot from the edge of the area to deny Andre Onana a chance.

Despite some late half-chances on both sides, both teams managed to get a point each.

Why Casemiro shouted at Alejandro Garnacho

One of the main talking points from a United perspective was Casemiro’s angry meltdown at Garnacho. The Argentinian failed to pick a teammate and was dispossessed by Pedro Neto, who headed towards United’s goal.

Casemiro came back to beat the Portuguese winger and earn a yellow card. The former Real Madrid star then turned to Garnacho and gave him a sympathetic ear, much to the delight of the United fans watching.
