Teenage girl allegedly kidnapped by 4 minors in Wilton, suspects arrested after accident

Ridgefield police said a teenage girl was allegedly kidnapped by four other juveniles.

Police said it happened at 5:15 p.m. on Wilton Road.

Officials said the woman was able to exit the vehicle at Tanglewood Court in Ridgefield, while the driver took off heading northbound on Main Street.

The driver refused to stop and crashed on Catoonah Street, police said.

Authorities said two suspects, male and two female minors, fled but were quickly caught by police.

Wilton police were also called to assist in the pursuit.
