Hawaiian star says show’s cancellation is ‘a huge loss for representation’

NCIS: The actors and bosses of the Hawaiian series reacted to the announcement of the cancellation of the procedural spin-off.

Actress Tori Anderson from Agent Kate Whistler was published on his Twitter/X: “I’m really having a hard time processing this one. Thank you to our amazing team who made every day feel like a dream.

“I want to thank all the fans. My heart breaks for you too. This is a huge loss for representation. I love you all so much.”

Jason Antoon, who played cyber intelligence specialist Ernie Malik, shared the announcement on his Instagram and wrote: “This case is brutal and makes no sense. But we had so much fun. I love you all and mahalo.”

The series’ co-creator and executive producer, Christopher Silber, also shared his thoughts on Twitter/X: “Four years ago, (Jan Nash) (Matt Bosack) and I started something very special. We we joined an incredible cast, incredible writers and “

As of this writing, Vanessa Lachey has not responded to the cancellation, but the other week she shared an interview celebrating 1,000 episodes of the franchise.

NCIS: Hawai’i airs Monday nights on CBS in the United States, with the final episode scheduled for May 6. In the United Kingdom, the show is broadcast on Disney+.
