Lonzo Ball has strong message for Hawks: ‘I hope they get worse’

It’s been more than two years since Lonzo Ball last stepped on the Chicago Bulls basketball court. When he played, the Bulls were one of the best teams in the league, but since he left, they are a middle of the pack team. That said, there has been some buzz recently surrounding his potential return for the 2024-25 season.

Ball recently launched his own podcast, “What an Experience,” which also features his brother LiAngelo Ball, as well as their two friends, Dmo and Ant. A recent episode revealed his potential plans for a comeback, but he also talked about the Atlanta Hawks, oddly enough.

When asked if Atlanta won the No. 1 overall pick, Ball talked a little. (H/t Farbod Esnaashari of Bulls News)

“I don’t care,” Ball said. “I hope their situation gets worse to be honest. Reboot.”

The Bulls knocked the Hawks out of the Play-In Tournament this year, but other than that, the connection between the two teams isn’t that extensive.
