However, eager fans were disappointed when the BookMyShow app and website crashed just a minute before the tickets were set to go on sale. Fans who had waited for hours to book their tickets took to social media to express their frustration, with many sharing their disappointment at not being able to access the booking platform.

Third show announced to meet demand

In response to the ticketing chaos, Coldplay has announced an additional concert in Mumbai, which will take place on January 21, 2025. This third concert is expected to meet the overwhelming demand from Indian fans who were unable to get tickets for the first tour. The concerts will be part of the band’s Music of the Spheres world tour, which has already seen sold-out shows around the world.

“Infinity Tickets” offer for fans

For those who were unable to secure tickets during the initial sale, Coldplay have launched the “Infinity Tickets” offer, giving fans a more affordable opportunity to attend the concerts. According to the band’s official website, “a limited number of Infinity Tickets are being released for each Coldplay concert to give fans the chance to attend the Music Of The Spheres World Tour at a very low price.”

Priced at just Rs 2,000 per pair, Infinity Tickets are designed to make concerts accessible to all fans. However, the seating arrangements for these tickets will remain a mystery until the day of the concert, and each fan is allowed to purchase a maximum of two tickets.

Coldplay Concert Ticket Prices in Mumbai

Ticket prices for Mumbai concerts vary widely, offering options to suit different fan preferences. Prices range from Rs 2,500 to Rs 12,500, with additional options at Rs 3,000, Rs 3,500, Rs 4,000, Rs 4,500, Rs 9,000 and Rs 9,500. For those looking for a premium experience, lounge seats are available at Rs 35,000.

Coldplay’s two concerts in Mumbai on January 18 and 19, 2025 will take place at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai, with the third now scheduled for January 21. Fans can expect to hear their favourite Coldplay hits, including tracks from their latest album Music of the Spheres.
