Trout-inspired textured sneakers: mocaturf

adidas Originals continues to expand its partnership with END. as the duo presents a pair of Mocaturf shoes for the season. It takes inspiration from fishing culture: the capsule uses a hairy suede material to construct the shoe to give it a textured look and finish.

The silhouette can be described as something between a formal loafer and a casual sneaker as it is detailed with the aforementioned material as well as the three-stripe pattern reimagined to replicate fishing lures. The design highlights fly fishing and we also find the Tobacco sneaker model which comes from the brand’s archives. Specifically dating from the 70s, the shoe is relaunched in two colorways inspired by the UK’s native trout.
