Augusta University Announces New Dean for College of Nursing

Liz Wright started at The Augusta Press in May 2022 and loves covering a variety of community topics. She strives to always report truthfully and fairly, which will help make her community a better place. In June 2023, Liz became the youngest recipient and first student to receive the title of Emerging Journalist of the Year from the Georgia Press Association. Eager to spread more positive news, she especially enjoys writing about the good things happening in Augusta. In her free time, she can be found reading novels or walking her rambunctious Pitbull.
