HOUSTON (KIAH) — It’s not even summer and the heat is already setting in in Southeast Texas as we speak. But the Harris County Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management offers ways to keep you cool during the upcoming temperatures.

Ready Harris once again wants to keep residents safe as temperatures continue to rise. Here are some tips you can use to protect yourself this summer season.


Ready Harris also recommends using cooling centers for those who may need them. They recommend visiting local libraries who may be able to help you for a short time.
