Kang Daniel officially announced that his time with KONNECT Entertainment is finished.

Through a heartfelt message to fans posted on his Instagram account, Daniel explained how disappointed and sad he was to announce such news. Daniel’s problems with KONNECT Entertainment began a few weeks ago when he filed a complaint with the Seoul Metropolitan Police for criminal law violations and fraud against the company’s largest shareholder. MA Kang claimed to have suffered losses after Shareholder A stole his identity and put the company’s seal on an advance distribution contract worth 10.0 billion KRW (approximately 7.25 million dollars) in December 2022.

Following the complaint, Daniel was expected to leave the company once his contract expired. Since then, all the artists have also left the agency. For this reason, KONNECT Entertainment is expected to cease operations soon.
