Diljit Dosanjh recalls saying yes to Jatt and Juliet 3 after producer offered him a blank check: ‘I never thought about it’

Diljit Dosanjh never fails to disappoint his fans with his sense of humor and pure honesty. The actor-singer recently shared a funny incident during a media interaction, which left everyone, including his co-star Neeru Bajwa, divided. Diljit, at the trailer launch of his Punjabi film Jatt and Juliet 3, revealed that he said yes to the film even though he didn’t want to do it as the producer had offered him a blank check, like reports News 18. Diljit Dosanjh wanted to refuse Jatt and Juliet 3

Diljit recalled that he did not want to be part of the third installment of Jatt and Juliet as he had differences with producer Darshan Grewal. He said, “While making Jatt and Juliet 1, Darshan Singh Grewal – the producer of Jatt and Juliet – we had issues with each other. So, when the film offer came to me, I wanted to go and refuse the film in person. I had gone to his office to decline the offer because of our history. When I reached his office, he signed a blank check in a film style and said, ‘Paaji, fill in the amount, I want to make a film with you.’ I hadn’t planned this.

The actor-singer added: “I took my manager aside at the time and discussed, ‘Now what do we do?’ We cannot refuse this no. We then searched who charged the most in the industry, it was Gurdas Maan sir, so I decided to enter the same amount. He got me the amount and I decided to put this amount with TDS so that the producer could withdraw his offer. He replied, “Add another lakh to the amount and sign the film. »

The trailer of Jatt and Juliette 3 was released on June 11. The film returns to screens 12 years after the second installment of the franchise.
