The violent words came up in court because one of the boys had mentioned the drill artist before Seesahai’s murder.

The boy, who bought the machete for £40 online, sent a photo of himself with the weapon inside the leg of his tracksuit bottoms to his co-accused and a schoolgirl.

The photo was captioned “Prison Freestyle,” a song created and posted online by O’Neill-Crichlow from behind bars.

Addressing the court, the boy claimed he “hadn’t listened to much” of O’Neill-Crichlow’s music and was unaware of his conviction.

Still, he admitted that music videos inspired him to clean the machete with bleach, and one of O’Neill-Crichlow’s songs includes the lyrics “I bleached my Rambz (knife) all )”.

Shortly before murdering Seesahai, the boys were passing machetes among themselves at Stowlawn playing fields in East Park, Wolverhampton.

They attacked Seesahai, who had only been in the country for six months and was from Anguilla in the Caribbean, as he discussed his Christmas plans with a friend in a Wolverhampton park in November of the year last.
