Terrarium workshop offered on July 24 at Barco

Join us on Wednesday, July 24, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. for an enchanting terrarium making class at the Currituck County Extension office located at 120 Community Way Barco, NC 27917. Immerse yourself in the art of designing and assembling your own miniature garden in a glass container. Under the expert guidance of our instructors, you will learn how to select the right plants, create a balanced ecosystem, and maintain your terrarium for lasting beauty. With all materials provided, this hands-on workshop is perfect for both beginners and experienced gardeners looking to add a unique, low-maintenance touch of nature to their home or office. Don’t miss this opportunity to create your personalized green oasis and connect with other plant enthusiasts!

The fee is $40.00 and includes instructions, a container, a set of stainless steel tools, plants and all materials needed to create your terrarium. Register for this event at https://terrariums.eventbrite.com. We accept cash and check payments in addition to credit card payments through Eventbrite. Please make checks payable to NCSU. Checks and cash payments can be received at the Currituck Extension office located at 120 Community Way Barco, NC 27917, within 5 days of registration. Class sizes are limited and full registration, including payment, is required to hold your spot.
